The IRIS app was built with a privacy-first approach by Frank&Friends. We believe that your visual data and personal information should belong to you and nobody else.
IRIS does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, images, or video streams. All image processing happens locally on your device's GPU in real-time. Nothing ever leaves your device or is seen by the developers.
The app requires access to your camera solely to provide the color filtering and highlighting service. This stream is processed instantly and is never recorded or uploaded.
If you choose to save a frame, the app will request permission to write to your Photo Library. IRIS only has "Add Only" access if you grant it, meaning it can save images but cannot read your existing photos.
